style=\"clear:both;\"><\/div>\n\t\t\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color\"><em>Brussels Voice Phenomena<\/em> reactivates a collection of recorded voices selected from the BNA-BBOT archives in Brussels. For this performance, Alexandra L\u00e9cuiller and actor Christophe Brault take on the roles of Thomas Alva Edison and Friedrich Jurgerson, pioneers in the recording of the voices of the dead, giving us a glimpse of a forgotten Brussels just waiting to spill over into our everyday lives. Between them, they orchestrate a danse macabre, resurrecting an anachronistic and invisible soundscape of Brussels. Faithful to this medieval motif, they take us on a journey through the cries of Brussels, encountering its neighbourhoods, its outcasts, its customs, its animals and its ghosts.<br>This performance is the fruit of two research residencies at KANAL-Centre Pompidou and Maison Po\u00e8me. It is part of Alexandra L\u00e9cuiller&#8217;s doctoral research in Art and Art Sciences at ENSAV-La Cambre and ULB on the role of the recorded voice in performance and its possible interpretations. Pour cette performance, Alexandra L\u00e9cuiller et le com\u00e9dien Christophe Brault endossent les r\u00f4les de Thomas Alva Edison et Friedrich Jurgerson, pionniers dans l&#8217;enregistrement des voix des morts et nous donnent \u00e0 entendre un Bruxelles oubli\u00e9 qui ne demande qu&#8217;\u00e0 d\u00e9border dans notre quotidien. \u00c0 eux deux, ils orchestrent une danse macabre ressuscitant un paysage sonore anachronique et invisible de Bruxelles. Fid\u00e8les \u00e0 ce motif m\u00e9di\u00e9val, ils nous entra\u00eenent \u00e0 travers les cris de Bruxelles, \u00e0 la rencontre de ses quartiers, ses laiss\u00e9s-pour-compte, ses coutumes, ses animaux et ses fant\u00f4mes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette performance est le fruit de deux r\u00e9sidences de recherche \u00e0 KANAL-Centre Pompidou et la Maison Po\u00e8me. Elle s&#8217;inscrit dans le cadre de la recherche doctorale en Art et sciences de l&#8217;art d&#8217;Alexandra L\u00e9cuiller, men\u00e9e \u00e0 l&#8217;ENSAV- La Cambre et \u00e0 l&#8217;ULB, sur la place de la voix enregistr\u00e9e dans la performance et ses possibles interpr\u00e9tations.
